in the middle of a scene so that your eye stops moving
and your mind stops thinking it knows what it’s
seeing. In that moment we are offered the opportunity
of capturing the true nature of reality, and the reality
of nature. When the story line pauses, there lies the

MY WORK
Each creative act starts out with the empty canvas, the
blank page,
tabula rasa. To start a new piece is an act of faith.
This, for me, is the
brilliance, the outrageousness of being an artist. It’s
like starting out on a
